Leonardo on the Tarot by Robert M. Place (2000)
According to Robert M. Place (2000), Leonardo Da Vinci proposed that there are some relationships between the different body segments. Leonardo Da Vinci then showed his findings in a painting called the Vitruvian man. In the painting, the left foot was shown in profile, and that the foot was of similar length to the forearm. We wanted to see if this was indeed true. Therefore, we have decided to carry out this study

Bethany Calabrese (2010) conducted an experiment measuring the right forearm and left foot of the same person. This experiment suggests the parameters involved in taking the two measurements. The results showed that contralateral forearm and foot are of the same length. However, the experiment was only done on two people, so it wasn’t a good representation of the whole population.
